Calathea Plant Food 8oz

Calathea are notoriously difficult and finicky. This fertilizer has changed the health of my plants! I keep about ~20 prayer plants (all types--- stromanthe, calathea, maranta, and ctenanthe) and use this fertilizer, plus a little silica and a bti drop--- they are thriving! I recommend this to everyone (along with some beneficial mites! For optimal care!!!) and my bbs havent seemed happier. Healthy with lots of new growth. Please never discontinue this mix!!! This is a concentrated fertilizer, so diluting it before applying it to plants is important. Make sure to read the instructions on how much to dilute it.so far I haven't killed my plants, which is a good sign. Hopefully I will be able to see new shoot growth soon.

We have one calathea. I think it hates us. We are trying to bribe it into liking us by giving it this food. So far, we don't see huge improvements, but it also hasn't died yet.I do appreciate that this is super concentrated so it should last us a long time. Especially since we aren't having the best of luck with this calathea. We may not get another one!

I'll update this review after two months of fertilization to provide additional information on the health of my plant (rattle snake plant, Goeppertia insignis). So far, after two weeks of fertilization, I can only say that the fertilizer has not visibly harmed my plant. There are no signs of new growth or other improvements in health. Calathea are sensitive plants so I am very hopeful that this fertilizer will prove effective.

It's very easy to use. Just add into your every other watering schedule. I can't tell the results yet as I just start using it on my triostars. I'll give more updates in one/two months. So far so good.
